Berlin is full of history - a city in which misery and sorrow as well as hopes and spirit of optimism are close together.With the Russian minibus "Bukhanka" we’ll enjoy a special city tour to the highlights of Soviet Berlin!Our vehicle:The minibus “Bukhanka” (“pan loaf”) is a modern Soviet "vintage car". Up to 8 guests (+ driver) can enjoy a unique and authentic experience. There are some surprises waiting on board!The Tour:At the Berlin Central Station we go on board. The "Bukhanka" takes us across the Spree river to the heart of the capital. The Reichstag building was the final stage of the "Battle for Berlin" at the end of the Second World War in Europe. The impressive Soviet War Memorial bears witness to the bloody fighting in the spring of 1945.Passing by the Brandenburg Gate, we will reach Checkpoint Charlie, where Soviet and American tanks faced each other in the heyday of the Cold War. Alexanderplatz and Karl-Marx Boulevard are impressive urban development projects of the socialist GDR. Between the TV tower, and socialist mosaics, as well as Soviet classicism and socialist brutalism, one can feel the old splendor of East Berlin.Now the "Bukhanka" is heading back towards the Spree river. The kilometer-long Eastside Gallery was once part of the almost insurmountable Berlin Wall. On the other side of the river is the West Berlin district Kreuzberg.For the grand finale, we head towards the Treptower Park. Here we visit the gigantic Soviet War Memorial with its deep history and impressive architecture.Then we’ll go back to the Central Station.
